Fort Pierce – Friday Fest is the longest running street festival and party on the Treasure Coast
Friday Fest, July 3, 2009
Marina Square, Melody Lane & Avenue A, Fort Pierce, FL
5:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
Main Street is proud to present Bobby & the Blisters to the July Friday Fest. Bobby and the Blisters will be entertaining The Fort Pierce Friday Fest, July 3rd, with their own brand of New Orleans jazz and funk. The band features the vocals and song styling of piano man Bobby Gangloff. Todd Walker of the Todd Walker Drum Studio will be on drums. During this performance, a battle of the saxes will occur as the Blisters own Ron McCode will be joined by John Michalak of The Miami Sound Machine. We’re so excited John will be with us before he goes on tour with Gloria Estefan to Europe in July. Don’t miss this one!
Jeff Brown, from Clear Channel Radio, will also be at Friday Fest entertaining the crowd with Top 40 music.
Bring the kids to Friday Fest. All in Fun. Inc, has teamed up with Main Street Fort Pierce to provide children’s activities during Friday Fest. The children’s activities include a Giant Slide and a bounce house in front of the library.
Have your photo taken with a reptile at the St. Lucie County Herpetological Society booth or your face painted by Masquerade Expressions.
Arts & crafts vendors will line up in front of the Indian River in Marina Square.
Make sure you bring your appetite when you come to Friday Fest. The food variety includes Greek, Caribbean, Mexican, barbeque ribs & chicken, seafood, Americana, and various snack items.
Admission is FREE and there is always plenty of food, music, and activities for all ages!
