The Manatee Observation and Education Center is hosting Indian River Lagoon Wildlife Boat Tours five days a week. Feel the wind in your hair as you cruise on the Indian River Lagoon, aboard the Gator. During the hour and a half tour participants may catch a glimpse of fish, birds, manatees, dolphin and more. With Captain Barry “Chop” Lege’ and his knowledgeable crew at the helm, partic ipants will learn about birds, marine mammals such as dolphin and manatees, the natural and cultural history of the Indian River Lagoon, and the ecology and habitats of the Lagoon, including sea grasses. Reservations are highly suggested. There is a minimum of 10 paid persons per tour or the tour will be cancelled.
